The Bob and Julie Hit list for Healthy Eating In and Around Louisville, Kentucky, USA

My husband and I really like the Ethiopian restaurant, Queen of Sheba. Our favorite thing to order is the vegetarian combination for 2. You get 2 kinds of lentil dishes and a salad and cabbage and I think a very nice turnip greens dish and you don't use forks, you eat it with a bread that is specific to Ethiopia called injera.

* Injera is an Ethiopian flat bread made from Teff (a unique Ethiopian cereal grain) and wheat flour.

This is very healthy eating.

The next healthy eating selection we like is at Shalimar Indiana Restaurant. For a good sampling of the food here, try the lunch buffet. Again, lots of vegetarian choices.

Next on the Bob and Julie hit list for fun, healthy eating is a Korean restaurant called Lee's Korean Restaurant. The only problem with this one is it's a little pricey, but, it's very quiet and very good. The stone pot egg and rice dish is something different and good.

Mai Thai is just over the bridge in Indiana. I can't get past the Pad Thai if you like the flavor of peanuts and noodles this is really good.

Shiraz is hands down the best in Middle Eastern cooking and healthy eating for a fast food dining experience. They have a pomegranate and turnip soup that is really good-it's a full meal for lunch.
